Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis
A psychotherapy practice illuminated by a depth of clinical experience - grounded in empathy - fostering good boundaries and an enduring capacity for self-reflection.
The capacity for self reflection comprises a balanced state of mind and steady emotional well-being. We choose to pause and witness our thoughts, our emotions, and our behavior. We reflect on our capacity for empathy. We become more conscious of our ability to take responsibility for our actions and strengthen our commitment to practice self-control before reacting. We exercise good judgment and set secure and confident boundaries.
Symptoms of depression, anxiety, alienation, chronic anger, intellectual and emotional numbing, and feelings of negation and non-existence alert us to disruptions in creating and/or maintaining well-being.
You are welcome to contact me and come to my clinical practice so we can attend to what is concerning you. I am attentive to my patients’ inner states of mind and to the external realities that are unique to each individual. Backed by many years of study, training, and clinical experience, I hold a Doctorate in Psychoanalysis and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
